Required Qualifications:
3-5 years: Service and maintenance on cement In-ground pools.
3-5 years: Customer Service.
3-5 years: Sales experience in outside sales, territory sales, or regional sales.
- Sales experience in freight forwarding, shipping, packaging, construction, equipment, or manufacturing is a bonus.
- Technical background in mechanical and/or chemicals preferred.
- Computer proficiency including MS office a must.
- Must have strong communication & presentation skills.
- Must be ambitious and results oriented.
- Works well on an individual basis.
- Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record

Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage, develop, and maintain all aspects of customer relationships with a target to increase sales volumes.
- Utilizing a consultative sales approach in working with customers/purchasing contacts to have on hand necessary chemicals, equipment etc.
- Build relationships with customers/purchasing contacts to convey the value of our products, service department etc.
- You are responsible for scheduling your appointments, maintaining your CRM records, and customer follow up to close each sale.
- Learn and utilize our CRM system and other technology. Keep good records.
- Utilize our marketing materials and presentations, using samples, catalog, photos, videos and emphasizing salable features.
- Prepare quotes, prices and credit terms and sales contracts for orders obtained.
- Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of company policy.
- Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Sales Manager.
- Leads are not provided as a matter of course; this position is not inbound sales. With that said, as prospective customers call in for inquiries, you will be assigned customer opportunities.
- Your sales meetings will take place on the customer's premises. Local travel is expected.
- Demonstrated comfort level in selling to mid-level management and occasional C-suite/business owner is a must.
- Represent our companies at appropriate association meetings, conferences, and trade shows.
- Preparing reports for sales and marketing tracking.
- Effective time management, organization, and multi-tasking skills.
