The Regional Manager is an exciting opportunity to join a pioneering company at a critical time in its growth. LivaNova has some of the most advanced technology in Cardiac Support in the world. At the heart of this fast-growing company, the Regional Manager, TandemLife must be a creative, dynamic leader and an active manager who excels at leading a talented and engaged sales team.
Work Setting
  • Primarily in a hospital environment (Cath Lab, CVICU, OR, CTICU, ED)
  • Must be able to travel on short notice; Up to 75% travel is required
  • Medium to High level of exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens while supporting cases.
  • Geography includes Boston, NY, and Pittsburgh
Responsibilities & Functions
  • Hire, train, coach, develop, manage region personnel.
  • Provide feedback from customers and clinical sites, including complaints to the corporate office
  • Ensures full utilization of CRM activities.
  • Provide direction and accountability for effective utilization of sales processes and tools by all-region personnel to include Sales Opportunity, Knowledge Center, and Marketing materials.
  • Identify regional needs and effectively utilize and prioritize personnel to exceed region objectives.
  • Develop new accounts. Sell capital and disposable equipment to existing and new customers ensuring maximum sales volumes of the company’s products and services.
  • Drive product utilization and build key opinion leaders through education and support.
  • Manage and mentor region personnel; conduct field ride-with letter as well as mid-year and annual performance reviews.
  • Participates in trade show exhibits, lectures, and demonstrations to attract new customers.
  • Establishes effective communication and collaboration across the company to ensure proper sensitivity to the needs of sales
Minimum Qualifications
  • A minimum of five years’ medical device sales experience in a hospital environment (Cardiac Cath Lab, Perfusion, Cardiovascular ICU/Critical Care, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of proven management experience in medical sales

Leveraging the TandemLife platform at the onset of the acute event will enable a transition to a higher degree of support later. The TandemLife kit components are indicated for temporary cardiopulmonary bypass for up to 6 hours.
