Full description of the position

Job Description:

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • PCA = Protection, Control & Automation
    • Introduce and assist with spec-in PCA products (Protection Relay, Automation Gateways, Controllers, RTUs, etc.)
    • Design PCA solutions for both Microgrid and non-microgrid applications.
    • Direct Quotation team members on how to quote PCA Solutions, Project, and Eng Services.
    • Assist with technical clarification and commercial negotiations on submitted quotations/proposals.
    • Lead Schneider local and key account sales team regarding PCA scope for business development activities for respective territory and assigned accounts/segments.
    • Lead Schneider Channel Sales team for PCA scope for channel diversification on selling PCA products and solutions for respective territory.
What will you do?
  • Preparation of functional specification, HMI specification documents, communication architectures, I/O lists (HW/Soft), protection philosophy manuals and application notes
  • Integration of intelligent protection relays in automation architectures.
  • Design & Review schematics of protection and control panels
  • Configuration of protection relays, PLC, HMI and other intelligent electronic devices.
  • Programming automation devices such as protection relays AND programmable logic controllers (PLC)
  • Configuring protection settings in protection relays from Short Circuit & Arc Flash studies
  • Configuring CID & SCD files (IEC61850)
  • Preparation and implementation of factory acceptance and commissioning.
  • Site Acceptance testing and Commissioning.
  • Planning and implementation of training courses and presentations for internal and external customers.
  • Technical presentations to customers
Qualifications:
What qualifications will make you successful?
  • Electrical Engineer
  • 10 years of work experience in power system protection, control and automation applications.
  • Familiarity with Communication Protocols.
  • Familiarity with Cyber Security.
  • Familiarity with Distributed Energy Resources and Microgrid Concepts
  • Excellent with English language both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time inside and outside country.
