Luxe Seafood Company, one of the LAs leading purveyors of fresh and frozen seafood has a unique and exciting opportunity for a Sales Person. Strong food knowledge and experience with all levels of restaurants and/or hotels is a plus for this position. Sales experience is not required, extensive training and on-going support is provided.

The person filling this position will work with the regions top chefs on a daily basis and must be familiar with chefs expectations and requirements. This position requires complete dedication and offers rewarding relationships. You must be a foodie, detail-oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic, creative, and tenacious without being overbearing. Candidates must have solid communication and presentation skills. The role includes a portfolio of existing accounts but allows the person to focus on opening new accounts within their territory.

Duties:

• Develop new business
• Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options
• Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements
• Communicate Seafood trends and updates to customers
• Relate information to management on customer needs and opportunities
• Provide excellent service to all existing and potential customers
• Handle customer complaints in a positive manner
• Enter orders into our system

Requirements:

• Strong Computer skills
• Good Listening and communication skills
• Knowledge of fresh and frozen seafood, Sushi Products, shellfish, crustaceans, as well as accompanying dry, jarred, and packaged goods
• Team Player
• Excellent customer service skills
• Desire to succeed in the seafood industry
• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent, one to two years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $67,000.00 per year
