What you can expect in this position:
We like to think of our call center staff as advocates for the friendliest vampires you’ll ever meet, our phlebotomists. You will be utilizing your customer service skills to encourage members of the community to come and make a lifesaving difference by scheduling an appointment with us. Our team members get the chance to advance their careers in health care and customer service while working with a compassionate and mission-driven group of professionals.

What you will do:
  • Assertively schedules blood donors to fill available appointment slots at fixed site or alternate location if fixed site not feasible for donor.
  • Achieves daily calling and appointment goals.
  • Verifies and updates computer records to reflect appointments and current donor information.
  • Provides educational information to donors and potential donors
  • Respond to and document donor eligibility questions and other questions or concerns according to department procedures.
  • Relays donor questions or concerns to the appropriate Blood Center staff.
  • Responsible for accurately entering call results and updating other pertinent information in the donor records
When you will work:
M-Th 10:30am-8pm & Saturday 9am-1pm

Compensation:
  • $15/hr. + evening and weekend shift differentials

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills required
  • High school diploma
