Pharmaceutical Sales Representative

OnCall is a leading provider of contract sales teams to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. We work with many of the larger and most well-known health care companies in the Industry.

We are partnering with our client to perform educational outreach visits to designated healthcare providers to promote a particular clinical practice. As such, we are looking for experienced sales professionals to join a new sales team. We are hiring for a number of sales territories throughout the Los Angeles area.

Specific job responsibilities include:

· Perform educational outreach visits to designated healthcare providers to strongly encourage providers to adopt a particular clinical practice. At each physician office, the Representative will meet with members of the clinical staff, including physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses and administrators.

· Meet physician office visit objectives for each educational outreach visit.

· Travel by own car within assigned geographic area.

· On a daily basis capture and report all call activity that transpired that day in our sales force automation system.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate must have strong sales, presentation communication, and computer skills.
• Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years outside pharmaceutical or medical sales experience.
• Prior hospital and specialty sales experience preferred.
• Computer literacy is a must.
• A hands-on attitude and entrepreneurial spirit are critical to your success in this position.
