Vending Business Seeking New Full-Time Employee

Tired of working for a large company where you're just a number? Tired of empty promises? Tired of working for owners/managers that have no clue what your job entails so you're not really appreciated?

J. S. Sales is a small, family owned vending business with over 20 years in the vending industry and we're seeking a new team member. From the working owner to the part-time help, every employee that works for our company is important to our success and treated as such.

We're currently looking for a honest, punctual, detail oriented, and friendly individual to join our company. This is a great position for people who like to work independently. No experience is necessary. You will spend approximately 4 weeks doing paid-training before you take over your own route.

This is a long-term stable position. We have not had to shut down, lay anyone off, or cut pay due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Compensation: $42,000 to $44,000 annually (based on qualifications). Annual wage based on an average 50 hour work week; wage includes straight time plus overtime. You are paid hourly plus overtime; this is not a salary or sales/commission based position.

Bonus potential.

Reviews done every 6 months for the first few years. We'll reward you with wage increases as you learn and become increasingly valuable to the company.

Paid weekly via Direct Deposit

HOURS:

Your vending route will start at 5:00AM and last for 10 to 12+ hours depending on weather, traffic, etc. Vending routes are filled Monday - Thursday. On Friday we start at 7:00AM getting ready for the next week and we try to be done by late morning or early afternoon. Friday's are also used to make up a missed route day (holiday's, sick day, etc.)

**We do not work Nights, Weekends or Holidays.**
Paid Holiday's off include: New Years Day, Memorial Day Monday, The 4th of July, Labor Day Monday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive a box truck throughout the Twin Cities and surrounding area
• Fill pop and candy vending machines. You'll use a handheld tablet to track product in/out - simple to use, no computer experience needed.
• Do simple maintenances on the vending machines you're filling as needed
• Help load trucks at the end of each route day
• Keep your truck organized, clean and do daily inspections per DOT requirements.
• Help with simple shop cleaning, junking vending machines if needed, etc., on Friday's

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Pass required drug and background checks (we don't do a background check until after we interview a candidate).

• Valid Drivers License

• Clean driving record is very important

• Ability to get and maintain a DOT health card (can be obtained after you are hired, cost is your responsibility)

• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day

• Ability to handle physical workload in all weather conditions. When filling vending routes you will be in/out of apartment complexes, businesses and a fill truck throughout the day. Some locations require up and down steps.

• Strong attention to detail

• Strong organizational skills

• Self Motivated with the drive to keep yourself busy

• Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, vending or other related fields is a plus but not required
• You must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with other employees and customers in English.
