Full description of the position
Koch Air, LLC has been focused on the distribution of quality Carrier residential and commercial products since 1936, and is among the oldest and largest Carrier distributors. Today, Koch Air, has ten branch locations, 35 delivery vehicles, and more than 300,000 square feet of equipment and parts warehousing throughout the Midwest.Koch Air is seeking a Supplies Inside Sales Representative. This role will successfully meet our customer Supplies requirements through proper understanding of our their needs and products available.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Conduct project take offs for Multi Family and Commercial projects of Supplies and Non-Unitary products.
2. Provide accurate quotations for Supplies projects coordinated with assigned Territory Manager.
3. Work with Purchasing team to secure products and pricing needed to meet project requirements.
4. Provide excellent customer service and professional interaction via all forms of communication.
5. Review and process orders from customers and sales teams.
6. Provide quotation maintenance and pricing updates.
7. Provide general customer inquiry support for Supplies project order entry.
8. Work with all internal teams (particularly Purchasing) to ensure customers orders are processed timely and accurately.
9. Maintain current, complete, organized job files; notify salesman of any discrepancies that cannot be corrected by the order department.
10. Monitor orders to ensure proper signatures, special information, and all required paperwork is supplied.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School degree or equivalent; college degree preferred, but not required.
2. Ability to use PC and Microsoft Office suite
KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
1. Must be responsive to customers and exhibit a service and sales attitude,
2. Ability to problem solve in a positive manner.
3. Ability to understand customer requirements and manage the customer relationship.
4. Excellent organizational and communication skills both written and verbal required.
5. A background, knowledge and understanding of the application and installation of the various types of HVAC Supplies is preferred.
6. Experience and understanding of the handling and processing of RFQs, purchase orders and submittals.
7. Highly organized with an emphasis on detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
