Job Overview
TopView Sightseeing is a New York City-based company offering a variety of sightseeing tours by bus, bike, and boat. Our growing team of native local experts serves over 2,500 customers daily, and visitors to the Big Apple can experience New York City with unforgettable views. As we are building our new brand, we are growing tremendously and we strive to enhance the customer experience across our network of brands. We are looking for an experienced Recruiting Manager to lead our contractor recruiting initiatives.
Responsibilities for the Recruiter
- Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline
- Identify and attract the most qualified and diverse Independent Contractors to sell Topview products
- Build a pipeline of talent all-year long
- Screen candidates by reviewing resumes along with performing phone, in-person interviews explaining and selling the Independent Contractor opportunity to the candidate
- Manage the recruiting process which includes but is not limited to: develop job postings, job descriptions, spend a significant amount of time outside recruiting candidates along with conducting hiring events, and utilize social media
- Demonstrate the ability to explain in detail and "sell" the position and opportunity to the candidate.
- Manage onboarding and new hire process for the Independent Contractor
Qualifications for the Recruiter
- 1+ year sales experience is a plus as you will be expected to sell the benefits and advantages of the Independent Contractor role to the candidate
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust
- Entrepreneurial attitude and can work independently to exceed a goal
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable making decisions independently
- Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
- Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues
- Be able to work outside recruiting Independent Contractors all-year long
- Strong judgment capabilities and relationship management skills
- Attentive to detail and well-organized; ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong influencing, analytical, and problem solving skills; must be able to influence candidate on advantages of the Independent Contractor position
- Excellent written and verbal communication and follow-up skills, with the ability to deliver a compelling story to prospective candidates
Salary Range $75K-$80K plus bonus capped at $130K
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
