Position Overview:

The Business Transient Sales Manager is responsible to solicit, sell and contract rooms for assigned market in coordination with transient demand patterns in order to maximize revenues and profits while maintaining guest/client satisfaction. The Business Transient Sales Manager will report to the Director of Sales on property as well as to the Regional Director of Business Transient Sales.

• Fully develop Corporate Transient market segments and achieve room night and revenue goals for this segment.
• Emphasize higher rated, less price sensitive business traveling on shoulder days of the week, as prescribed by hotel.
• Maintain weekly telephone and outside solicitation, travel agency presentations.
• Track all accounts daily, including Consortia and Government segments.
• Develop new accounts.
• Maintain growth of existing accounts
• Stay current and abide by all sales office procedures and systems.
• Participate in weekly marketing and rooms merchandising meetings, monthly sales meetings, stand up daily and monthly sales meetings as assigned by the Director of Sales & Regional Director of Business Transient Sales.
• Selling responsibility will be associated with this role. Must be able to book, contract and detail small business blocks and catering functions.
