Vanguard Soap Company is a dynamic, growing organization that is striving to be the leader in liquid and bar soap production. We are looking for an Account Manager to maintain and grow our relationship with our customers. This role interacts with all levels both in our organization and our customers. Account Managers pull all aspects together, from formulation to packaging, by working closely with our Sales, Technical, Quality and Manufacturing teams. AMs manage new product launches, act as customer's liaison walking orders from receipt through the shipping process.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:
- Maintain positive relationships and act as assigned customer's primary liaison
- Assist in managing customer inventory
- Assist sales team with onboarding new customers and expanding existing customer business
- Monthly collection of KPI information for management reviews and customer business reviews
- Manage multiple projects
MINIMUM EDUCATION OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's Degree in business or similar field preferred
- 3+ years' experience in Account Management or Business Development
- Experience in working with complex, multi-divisional, multi-geographical customers
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Exceptional communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail required
- Strong problem-solving skills
