Who is SLS Freight? We are logistics professionals dedicated to making transportation simple for businesses. We do this by training individuals to think logically and to speak our client's language. You’ll report directly to the Director of Operations and Procedures and collaborate across the organization to unlock growth.
This is an inside sales role in which you will generate and qualify leads by engaging with potential clients by phone, email, as well as assist in developing marketing campaigns.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast paced environment where your personal contributions will help drive, support and expand the organization. If you are energetic, outgoing, tenacious, have attention-to detail with outstanding follow through, you will achieve success.
Essential Functions:
- Understanding of CRM logic – how it works and its effectiveness
- Maintain reporting of leads and keep accurate up to date records
- Effectively learn and execute the processes taught
- Work leads from database to qualify prospective clients
- Research, curate, source and schedule marketing and social media campaigns
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities
- Make outbound calls and emails
- Engage and book appointments with decision-makers at all levels to close desirable business
- Understand prospects pain points and growth initiatives in order to position a solution
- Speak and present the story of our company - prepare and run web demo’s / tutorials
- Complete New Client Onboarding and communicate account need to support staff
- Maintain strong relationships and high level of interaction with team leaders and members
Position Requirements:
Sales experience a plus but not required
Must be flexible in nature and highly motivated self-starter
Comfortable making phone calls and cold calling companies/people
Should demonstrate time management skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Technical aptitude and attention to detail
Proficient use in modern technology (Google Docs and Sheets a plus)
Familiarity with CRM and search engines preferred but not required
Be available to work in office Monday - Friday (hours are to be determined)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
