Full description of the position

This position will be a highly visible outside sales position. You will conduct self-generating lead activity. You will serve as an ongoing caretaker of lead generating partnerships.

Develop and maintain informal relationships with local commercial, home, and agricultural customers for potential fuel, oil, and propane account leads.

Negotiate competitive price to sell propane and other products and services

Work with new customers to ensure retention of accounts through first year contact on a scheduled basis

Exercise leadership role with the ability to work independently

Work in partnership with other departments in regards to timely resolution of customer issues

Keep abreast of products, technical services, market conditions, competitive activites, advertising, and promotional trends

Excellent verbal communication skills

Prior selling experience with proven track record of hitting or exceeding goals

Good driving record
