The Mastercard Launch program is aimed at early career talent, to help you develop skills and gain cross-functional work experience. Over a period of 18 months, Launch participants will be assigned to a business unit, learn and develop skills, and gain valuable on the job experience.

The Commercial Solutions Chief Operating Office Team drives the business management activities of the Commercial segment across product, engineering, and business development functions.

This role will be a part of the Go to Market Sales Operations team. In Commercial Solutions we are building out an international business development team who specialize in selling Commercial products and services. The Go to Market team will be responsible for developing sales strategies for the business development team and will track progress against sales goals and targets.

Commercial Solutions a key part of our Mastercard's imperatives to generate new flows. The Launch Hire would be a part of Commercial's journey to drive exponential growth while learning all aspects of the business (from engineering to product to sales)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess go-to market strategies based on analytics
• Determine business development needs by market/segment
• Develop dashboards and KPI tracking to monitor sales progress
• Hold weekly, monthly, and quarterly routines (sales hygiene, pipeline progress, implementation support)
• Diagnose and spotlight key wins to determine ways to replicate across the organization

All About You

• Currently enrolled senior pursuing Bachelor’s/Accelerated Master’s Degree graduating in Spring 2023
• Pursuing a major in the following: Finance, Marketing, Business
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Self-starter with passion for solving problems
• High energy level; flexible, adaptive and strong collaborator
• Well planned, organized & structured to manage time & work effectively
• Project management and time management skills,
• Presentation skills and proposal development understanding
• Strong communication capabilities and demonstrated experience managing simultaneous initiatives, solving problems and applying effective planning skills to deliver multiple initiatives successfully

Experience and Skills needed:

• Well-rounded individual with significant extracurricular involvement
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to work on a team and independently
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Attention to detail
