JOB DESCRIPTION
CORPORATE TRAVEL SALES MANAGER
Carrousel Travel has a full time opening for a high energy Corporate Travel Sales Manager. Location for this role is at our Richfield, MN office . This is a hybrid position, partially in-office and partially remote.
An exciting position within the travel industry that allows for growth potential. The Corporate Travel Sales Manager is a client-facing position that requires great communication skills, and professional representation of Carrousel Travel. We're looking for a candidate that is motivated to sell, and prospect new business to expand our Corporate Travel Division.
Responsibilities and assignments:
-Primary contributor to the growth and success of the corporate travel department.
-‘Hunt’/prospect, research, contact, and generate new potential corporate account leads through phone, email, webinars, and in-person meetings.
-Meet sales quotas/goals and other expectations as outlined and reviewed with your manager
-Manage potential prospects in the sales pipeline, tracking all correspondence and materials in Sales Force.
-Set a structured timeline and sales routine for communication to clients and prospects.
-Follow-up on action items, from meeting in a timely manner.
-Fulfill and close new corporate sales leads.
-Capability to cross-sell and speak to our group department (& leisure as applicable).
-Create & maintain marketing collateral to prospective clients as necessary.
-Initiate additional new direct marketing campaigns, using creativity to highlight Carrousel while ensuring Carrousel brand image and ‘standards’ are met.
-Must be fluent in Microsoft Office products to format, and manage data into spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations etc… for all materials needed throughout the corporate sales process.
-Attend new client onboarding meetings and future trainings.
-Attend and participate in industry networking functions such as GBTA and tradeshows.
-Attend and participate in corporate client meetings where your industry expertise is needed.
-Attend in-house staff meetings.
-Attend in-house collaborative sales meetings and other meetings related to this role.
-Track and uphold client privacy agreements, and client contracts.
-Facilitate weekly meetings or correspondence with upper level Management to review leads.
-Understanding of Carrousel and Consortia brands and benefits, to explain in sales process.
- Facilitate, prepare, and lead RFP presentations/proposals in and out of state.
-Attend client and client prospect events as necessary.
-Miscellaneous duties as requested.
Key qualifications:
* Excellent written, and verbal communication skills
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook (calendar invitations & appointments, creating and managing tasks, etc.), Word, and Powerpoint (presentations).
* Timely and efficiently facilitate webinars, or video call platforms.
* Proactive and self-motivated
* Professional in demeanor
