Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for Accountant (Account Manager) to support a Home Visitation (HVP) and Healthy Families America (HFA) Program. The Division of Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health (MCAH) HVP provides supportive home-based support and visitation services to high-risk, low-income pregnant and parenting families by health and social service professionals. The Account Manager will function as the ARP HVP-HFA manager and coordinator for HFA contracted agencies. The Account Manager will be performing a variety of entry level accounting assignments in the preparation, analysis, review, maintenance, reconciliation, and control of financial records and fiscal revenue and expenditures forecasting for ARP HVP-HFA. This position will work under the close supervision of a higher-level accounting or finance supervisor and will perform a variety of entry level accounting assignments and related fiscal management functions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB)

The positions will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and are initially funded through 09/30/2024.

Pay Rate-

$28.22/hr working 40 hours a week

Shifts: 9/80 Work Schedule with Friday RDO Available

Location: Will all be Downtown Los Angeles 2-3 days per week with potential of moving full time in office.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and three years experience providing direct health or social program services, one year of which must have been in program planning and evaluation, program development, research and analysis, or other administrative functions;

Valid Class C California Drivers License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions

Desirable Qualifications:

• Computer literate with skills in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Publisher, Excel, and similar programs;
• Experience writing reports and managing invoicing for contracts
• Experience with community project accounting a plus
