Minnesota Equipment is looking for a Parts Counter Salesperson to be responsible for selling, receiving and delivery of Ag & Turf parts and accessories.

This position will:

• Promote and sell Ag & Turf products and/or services to meet customer needs

• Record sales and/or counter transactions

• Supply Service Technicians with parts as required

• Assist with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays

• Participate in job-related training and development

• Perform routine housekeeping tasks

• Maintain condition of department vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment

• Verify receipting-in of shipments and assist with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

• At least 1-year experience in Parts Department operations preferred

• Ability to use standard desktop load applications and internet functions

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to work extended hours and/or some Saturday’s

• Basic parts and machinery knowledge

• Ability to analyze and interpret basic Parts Department reports

• Ability to use the John Deere Parts catalog computer application

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.

• High School diploma or equivalent experience

• Fork lift license preferred

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
