About the Role
Perspectum is looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to build value in our new Boston office through revenue generation, strategic collaborations with key opinion leaders and research institutes, and relationship management with clients (e.g., Pharma and/or Biotech customers). You will network with existing and prospective customers and plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with us.
You will gain a detailed scientific understanding of Perspectum products and services and the ability to communicate the clinical evidence supporting use of Perspectum products in clinical trials.
Responsibilities include:
- Keeping updated with the latest developments in indications/fields relevant to Perspectum’s imaging offering and medical imaging
- Attending conferences and events to develop new business, build relationships and support existing clients
- Accurately maintaining and developing prospect/client data via Perspectum’s CRM
- Budgeting and constructing service proposals, updating sales forecasts and expectations for contracts
- Communicating and liaising with various internal teams including inputting and collaborating with Marketing on collateral, and supporting Legal and Finance during the contracting process
This is a fantastic opportunity to influence the growth and establishment of Perspectum within the Boston area.
About You
To be a successful BDM you will ideally be educated to at least degree level in a relevant, science based subject and have experience selling to Pharmaceutical, Biotech, CRO or Medical Device organizations. You will be an excellent communicator, problem solver and team player who is confident working cross functionally. Most importantly, you will be passionate about ensuring a faultless business development and sales process, and eager to contribute to a fast paced, growing organization.
This is a hybrid, full time role based in Boston where occasion travel will be required.
