Job description

Express Employment Professionals is searching for a detail-orientated Business Development Professional who will be responsible for a diverse range of outside sales needs for a successful area company. This fast-paced role works internally with management as well as area businesses on a daily and weekly basis to meet sales and production goals.

Essential Job Functions:

• Meet and Exceed weekly/monthly/quarterly sales and production goals
• Provide excellent customer service and promote internal sales
• Networking to generate leads and contacts for future businesses
• Work closely with current clients to understand their immediate and up-coming needs
• Other service related tasks
• Business to business sales
• Make 100 sales calls (face-to-face and on the telephone) per week (2-to-1 prospect-to-client ratio).
• Promote candidate profiles on sales calls.
• Discuss sales calls daily with inside staff.
• Work with inside sales staff to develop and pursue Top-20 Hit List accounts.
• Implement marketing programs.

Job Requirements:

• Outside Business to Business/Inside sales experience STRONGLY PREFERRED
• Strong computer and phone skills a must
• Must possess a passion for customer service and a craving to work in a fast paced/high volume culture
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Must be sales driven and goal-orientated
• Professional attire and attitude is a must
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and plan work activities effectively
• Team player mentality
