The Role
Sikich is seeking a Director of Sales to sell quality management solutions (QMS) services within the company’s Regulatory, Quality & Compliance division. The successful candidate will be responsible for building new customer relationships to drive professional services engagement growth. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience selling services in the Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical and/or Medical Device market.
Responsibilities:
- Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts and territory.
- Establish, maintain, and expand productive, professional relationships with key personnel in new business accounts.
- Coordinate involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet performance objectives and client expectations.
- Work with Marketing to create effective customer awareness and outreach campaigns.
- Proactively lead joint client planning process to develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
- Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities within assigned area of responsibility.
- Communicate effectively with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to maximize profitable sales while minimizing channel conflict.
Requirements:
- BS/BA or 10+ years relevant experience
- 7+ years sales experience hitting and exceeding sales quota targets
- 5+ years selling complex solutions and managing Key Accounts
- Experience selling professional services in the life science market
- Ability to use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to manage business
- Ability to travel 20% to 50%
