Full description of the position
ASI is seeking an Architectural Sales Representative and Product Consultant for the New York City Metropolitan area. Superior design and the most extensive range of products in the industry have been the hallmarks of ASI Group.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Architectural sales emphasis focused on design and specification influence, thus securing basis of design
- Product sales and marketing targeting Architects, Designers, Facility managers and owners as well as other stakeholders in the construction industry in the NY metropolitan area
- Schedule regular product knowledge sessions with architectural and design firms
- Manage architectural pipeline in collaboration with distribution representatives including key performance metrics to achieve sales targets, logging all activities into CRM database
- Prepare and deliver formal and rehearsed presentations of ASI products, services and company strengths
- Use Dodge/REED reports to keep abreast of upcoming projects with current and new architectural firms
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participation in professional societies such as ASID, AIA, CSI etc.
- Execution of unique strategies to win projects among a competitive landscape.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- 3 or more years in commercial architecture, design or construction industry with a strong technical aptitude
- Well versed in Solution and relationship selling
- Bachelors degree preferred but will consider Associate or Technical degree along with experience or industry credentials
- Well developed inter-personal and communication skills, problem solving, presentation and organizational skills

- Ability to develop and maintain relationships within the A & D community
- Computer proficiency
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
