Currently we are looking for a experienced BID SPECIALIST who will join our team in Union, NJ.

Responsibilities include bid planning using agreed tools, document creation, population, compilation and control, and submission in line with client timescales.

High level of attention to detail and an ability to work under time pressure are essential for this role!

Duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing and submitting Bid Proposals (mostly for government contracts, not private clients)
• Coordinates and expedites all phases of the contract bidding process (from searching to submitting)
• Able to conduct market research for competitive advantage
• Identify partnership opportunities and maintain existing business
• Develops new relationships in an effort to grow business and help company expand
• Handles bid documents including reviewing terms and background
• Forecasts future sells prices
• Analyzes profit margin reports
• Runs monthly sales analysis

Skills and qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience on similar position
• Knowledge of bidding on contracts (eg. government, public works etc.)
• Experience in Janitorial supplies, Hardware supplies, Paper/plastic products is a must!
• Great analytical skills
• Experience in wholesale, sales, contracts, analysis
• Experience in professional level writing and proof reading
• Thorough attention to detail
• Strong time management skills with the ability to work on tight deadlines
• Proactive, organized and resourceful, with the ability to balance multiple priorities
• A degree in a business-related field is preferred

Pay: $45,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year

Experience:
