Position Summary

The Account Manager for Original Equipment Consumer will facilitate the LOCAL interactions with the Original Equipment Customer and be Bridgestone’s voice for the account in the USA and Canada when interacting with Bridgestone's Global OE Team and the OEM's global organization. The emphasis will be with the assigned Base Account(s).

The position will manage ~ $50M annual revenue and have profit and loss responsibility for the respective Original Equipment Customer for the USA and Canada portion of the account, while actively supporting the Global account business development activities as assigned.

The position will be responsible for strengthening the relationship with the Original Equipment Customer, acting as the primary point of contact for the purchasing organization, among other key interactions within the Original Equipment Customer’s organization, actively developing the account, negotiating new business contracts and current contract reviews.

The position will be responsible for establishing the pricing strategy and profitability to meet the budget, the mid-term plan, and long-term strategic needs.

The position will facilitate key initiatives and activities related to Original Equipment Customer’s business management and development in Bridgestone.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent work experience
