Job Description:
- Perform general and preventative maintenance within occupied and vacant apartments as well as common areas.
- Responsible for grounds keeping tasks: Grass cutting, landscaping, snow removal (sidewalks and parking lots) as needed.
- Maintain adequate maintenance shop inventory
- Responsible for all interactions with contractor and vendors
- Must effectively communicate with residents and team members
- Maintain the cleanliness of all exterior and interior common areas including trash removal
- On-Call: Periodic EMERGENCY on call after hours.

- Basic Tool skills: Hand and Power
- Basic Electrical and plumbing
- Computer Skills

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2 years of maintenance experience or 1 year of relevant experience and 6 months specific education in one of the following trades: Electricity; HVAC; Plumbing/Fitting; Welding/Fabricating; or Carpentry.
Computer Skills
Basic computer skills (email, web searching) and ability to use work order system.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
Valid Driver’s License
Access to a registered and insured vehicle for frequent and regular travel between communities.

Ability to competently perform all functions of the Maintenance Technician I position
