The Hamilton Group, LLC is a regional insurance agency located in Cedar Knolls, NJ. We have been providing professional insurance services to businesses and individuals for over sixty years. We represent most major insurance carriers.

We are currently seeking an experienced personal lines account manager to handle a book of business. This position is the focal point of clients’ contact with our agency. The account manager must be able to explain, select and place the clients’ coverage. They would also need to objectively assess the underwriting practices of our companies when placing insurance.

Responsibilities:

• Service accounts on a day-to-day basis
• Provide customer support
• Process endorsements
• Analyze existing exposures
• Present alternative solutions to client to fulfill their needs

Experience

• Prior insurance experience
• Property & Casualty producer license
• Adequate knowledge of rating procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively manage and maintain appropriate coverage
• Must be hard working, detail focused, passionate about providing the best service, responsive to priorities, dedicated to the team, and serious about success
• Experience in Applied Epicis a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
