Position Overview
EDCO has an immediate need to hire a Lead Generation Specialist. This position is a key member of the EDCO Products sales and marketing team. This full-time, exempt position is based in our Hopkins sales office and reports to the Marketing Manager. This individual will play an important role in responding to and tracking sales leads generated by our various marketing initiatives, closing sales in some cases, as well as administrating our brochure and product sample program. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career in either sales or marketing.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Executes the qualification of leads before distributing to the sales team. This includes contacting all leads received through various communication tools including phone and email and the tracking of leads thru the sales cycle.
  • Manages our sample and product brochure program to ensure we have inventory and that orders are being fulfilled in a timely fashion.
  • Coordinates the sales and marketing portion of the certified contractor program. This includes working with the business development managers and regional sales managers to establish a list of key contractors in each state.
  • Maintains internal communication vehicles that contain a list of registered warranty jobs.
  • Works closely with the Marketing Specialist to coordinate the sales promotion program/co-op marketing program. This includes coordinating the sample fulfilment program and the tracking of expenditures throughout the year.

Competencies & Qualifications

  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • A bachelor's degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered.
  • Strong computer skills (ERP, Microsoft Office and database management).
  • Customer service skills
  • Building Materials knowledge of the construction industry experience is a plus.
  • Organizational Agility: effectively work across the organization.

  • Organization: ability to prioritize, balance responsibilities, and meet deadlines within budget parameters provided.
