Job Requirements:

Seeking a sales and estimating professional for the HVAC (Hydronic Piping and Sheet Metal) markets; must be capable of assembling an accurate estimate and a corresponding detailed proposal for the customer.

Candidate must have experience with commercial HVAC systems, along with a general understanding of HVAC/Mechanical design and load/size calculations.

Requirements:

• Be able to accurately identify, quantify and record piping and ductwork associated with the various mechanical systems; training is available for our proprietary estimating software and/or QuoteSoft estimating software
• Review all bid document and seek clarifications during the bid process to insure an accurate bid is assembled
• Budgeting, unit pricing, pipe sizing, general code compliance and an understanding of general layout of Plumbing, Piping and HVAC Duct Systems
• Concurrently bid/manage multiple projects. Create a detailed estimate with appropriate material, labor & subcontractor selections; alternates and unit pricing when required; and corresponding proposal to identify the bidder's work scope

Beneficial Certifications & Skills:

• BSME in Engineering/HVAC or Construction/Sales/Business Management
• Communication, relationship building and customer service
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel and assembling a detailed quote
• Familiar with RS Means, PHCC and other Labor Calculator Manuals
• Work in an open/team environment and have the ability to work independently
• Strong multi-tasking, organization and prioritization skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Experience:

• HVAC Estimating or Design: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• BSME in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC or Business (Preferred)
