Sales and Move In Coordinator
The Move-In Coordinator is the person who brings everything together. While it can be stressful ensuring the resident’s first impression is beyond amazing, the move-in process is seamless, and needs are met; the reward comes in knowing that you’ve provided legendary service to our residents and their families.
As a Move-In Coordinator one of your goals is to obtain a 100% leased and occupied community. This goal can be achieved by knowing the market/competition, what the resident values and Senior Star Sales & Marketing process.
As a Move-In Coordinator you will coordinate the entire move in process of the resident, maintain all paperwork associated with each move in, oversee resident/family referral program, coordinate multiple programs, and assist at offsite trade shows/marketing events, visit homes and work on special projects as assigned.
At Senior Star all associates have a role in the sales process. The Move-In Coordinator is uniquely positioned to influence the decision to move in by potential residents and their families. The Move-In Coordinator must take pride in the work that they do and be able to speak to why Senior Star is the right community for the potential resident.
Senior Star is proud to be a fully vaccinated organization. All associates must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination prior to starting. Senior star also requires annual Flu vaccination.
Required Education, Knowledge and Skills
- Retirement industry knowledge and experience helpful, but not required
- Marketing and/or Public Relations contact in area community helpful, but not required
- Strong skills with seniors and the general public
- Strong marketing and communication skills
- Perseverance and tenacity to follow through on leads
- Honest and dependable
- Self-starter and completer, with a proven track record
- Treats all information regarding the community, business or residents as confidential
- Strong desire to improve the lives of seniors and an embracement of the Senior Star corporate mission and philosophy
