Full description of the position

Description:Responsible for leading up lean projects across the company, focused on supporting efficient ways in which the company can support its growth objectives by working smarter. Scope would include value stream mapping, assessment of optimized digital workflows to support remote office workflows, conducting and leading Kaizen events using appropriate lean tools. As required work with 3rd party vendors to support lean projects to support cost reduction efforts within the business.
Essential Functions

• Conduct and Maintain Value stream maps for key business processes within the company to ensure that workflows are the most efficient and scalable to support the business growth needs.
• Performs major process troubleshooting when beyond the level of the operating staff.
• Work to digitize workflows using appropriate digital tools including but not limited, ERP, Configuration management, CRM, Smart sheets or other determined tools that support company expansion.
• Quantify with regards to $ value savings or cost avoidance lean projects to drive and support as needed sponsorship and investment.
• Lead and drive cross company lean training, workshops and leverage internal training capability to do so.
• Help implement continuous improvement cultural change using coaching skills.
• Manage the following KPI’s

a) Maintain current and active lean workbooks for main business processes
b) Maintain a lean improvement funnel as determined by the lean workbooks
c) Drive annual cost savings / cost avoidance that is in line to the company budget
Requirements:Required Education, Experience & Skills

• Bachelors Degree or Associates in relevant field
• Lean Six Sigma Black belt
• 2-3 years experience in continuous improvement using six sigma methodologies
• Effective troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Project and time-management skills.
• Ability to work and achieve results with minimal direction

Preferred Education, Experience & Skills

• Experience with Salesforce, Quickbooks and/or Fishbowl
• Project Management experience
