This position requires a motivated team player with excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. The candidate will assist with the organization and implementation of marketing strategies and sales initiatives. In addition, the Marketing and Sales Assistant will work with the Sales and Marketing Teams to plan in-house and industry sponsored educational workshops, conventions and events. An ideal candidate will be an effective multi-tasker who is willing to take on responsibilities and enthusiastically contribute to team efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the marketing and sales departments.
• Maintain scheduling calendar for marketing initiatives.
• Work with the marketing team to manage brand and marketing initiatives.
• Communicate marketing initiatives to the Customer Service Team.
• Assist in filming educational and marketing video content.
• Edit videos to fit the company brand.
• Assist with the setup, facilitation and completion of events.
• Maintain and update event planning documents.
• Oversee event planning task lists and deadlines.
• Input income and expenses on event planning sheets.
• Attend trade shows and company events.
• Analyze event feedback.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED certificate
• 1-3 years experience in marketing or equivalent education
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word)
• Familiarity with Google Workspace (Sheets, Forms, Docs, Calendars) a plus
• Video editing experience
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere) a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
