Overview:

Chick-fil-A Delivery Coordinators are experts in mobile hospitality helping us DELIVER the Chick-fil-A experience right to our guest’s front door. At Chick-fil-A Rivers Avenue, the Delivery Dispatcher role is more than just a job, it’s an opportunity. We are seeking part-time and/or full-time candidates who have excellent people skills and a sense of urgency to help us hit the road with the Chick-fil-A experience. The Dispatcher must be reliable, prompt, professional, and maintain Chick-fil-A’s high standard of guest satisfaction. The Dispatcher is the organizational arm of our Delivery Team and ensures that delivery times are met while painting safety and ensuring top-notch customer service. Core 4, door to door.

How You’ll Make a Difference:

• Ensure that drivers are demonstrating the Core 4 (Create Eye Contact, Share a Smile, Speak with a Friendly Tone, Always say “My Pleasure”)
• Assist Delivery Director in developing relationships with drivers, goal setting, and leadership growth and development
• Assign orders to Drivers
• Assist in preparation of orders; stocking counter and supplies, bagging food, preparing drinks, etc.
• Serve as the frontline for Delivery Team in conflict resolution while providing 2nd Mile customer service
• Supervise training of new drivers
• Maintain analytics of team and individual goals, as well as stat tracking
• Submit help tickets and serve as a liaison with the Helpdesk regarding maintenance of delivery bags/boxes and software
• Schedule and log vehicle maintenance
• Serve as primary phone screener for store
• Maintain confidentiality regarding pay and manage driver tips
• Occasionally drive and make deliveries using delivery standards

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be 18yrs or older
• Clean driving record for at least the last 2 years
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
• Ability to stay calm and remain organized in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Must have valid state issued driver’s license
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs
