Retail Sales HVAC/R Territory Sales Manager - San Francisco in San Francisco, CA
American Refrigeration Supplies, Inc. is a wholesale distributor of A/C and heating equipment, accessories and supplies and we have been serving our customers for 82 years. We are looking for an experienced Territory Sales Manager for our Northern California Region. This position is full-time (typically 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) and will be based out of San Francisco, CA and cover the San Francisco Bay area. Frequent travel is required.
About the Position:
The Territory Sales Manager will generate sales and margin growth for all parts of our business. Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing customers. Generate new customer business by contacting leads and following through on quotes and technical support.
Primary Duties:
- Grow sales utilizing assigned customers as well as generating new customers
- Develop existing accounts to increase sales and expand product lines by consistently communicating solutions and providing technical support
- Develop and open new accounts by consistently cold calling to provide new solutions to make their job easier and offering product support/promos
- Coordinate sales activities to support various product lines by communicating and working with branch staff and key vendors
- Analyze customer sales reports or diminishing sales categories and strategize a plan for increasing book of business through better service or diversifying product line
- Coordinate with management on product planning, inventory, and new solutions or promos for customers
- Coordinate with Business Director in balancing territory. Assigned accounts must maintain or have potential of minimum $50,000 with maximum of 35 total accounts.

- Other duties as assigned
Required Experience:
- A minimum of 5 or more years of HVAC industry experience
- 3 or more years of Sales or Sales Management experience
Abilities and Skills:
- Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to communicate well with others.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time well.
- Ability to be self-starting.
- Strong computer knowledge including MS Office
- Basic typing/10-key skills.

** Salary is commensurate with experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
