Full description of the position

Lead Analyst - Sales Systems

As the Sales Systems Analyst Lead, you will partner with IS and Insurance Business Units throughout the Enterprise on insurance system functionality and enhancements; Serve as SME on one or more systems serving insurance operations through all the states.

  • Work with Ins Product Teams to develop/enhance/maintain insurance systems (new functionality, enhancements, etc.)

  • Identify and participate in the integration of technical applications and systems strategies that support insurance business needs; design, test, implement and monitor insurance-related systems

  • Develop, mentor, and train analysts on the Ins Product & Technology Team

  • Identify current state and gaps; Propose to be state

  • Evaluate the impact of system change requirements necessitated by legislative and/or regulatory developments or changing business needs

  • Initiate system changes in coordination with other business units, including Information Systems, Product Management, Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial, and other related units

  • Produce and/or approve communications regarding changes in business processes or procedures, changes in system functionality, business forms, and reports

Education:

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Experience:

  • Strong sales and/or insurance background required

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Analyst

Knowledge / Skills / Competencies:

  • Advanced written and verbal skills required

  • Advanced leadership skills required

  • Ability to analyze, organize and recognize priorities required

  • Ability to manage meetings and speak effectively required

  • Advanced skills in using Microsoft Office Suite
