Job Description :-
The primary focus of this role is to deliver exceptional customer service. Service includes supporting the delivery and coordination of print and related services such as creative, prepress, data management, production, finishing, warehousing, fulfillment and distribution. Responsibilities include managing employees - evaluation, training, and development; implementing programs to enhance the client’s experience; assure compliance to contract terms and established best practices; develop internal customer relationships; quality and service optimization.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management –
Ensure that clients are managed in a proactive, professional manner and that their expectations are not only met but exceeded.
Ensure that the company delivers service in-line with our client’s business objectives, creating advantage wherever possible.
· Serve as a primary liaison and contact between Exela Technologies and the business unit entities.
· Attends customer meetings as appropriate
· Develops a good understanding of the client’s business and industry sector.
· Builds relationships with clients and manages their perceptions and expectations.
· Owns and resolves client complaints and issues.
· Ensures results of any client service survey and general client feedback are acted on as appropriate.
· Facilitates timely cost/work approval with client.
· Attends vendor meetings and manages the relationship and expectations.
· Initiate, schedule and delivery periodic business reviews with customers.
· Resolves complex vendor issues escalating as appropriate.
Financial Management
· Work to the company operating budget, understanding P&L and billing process.
· Ensures best practice procedures are followed and documentation is complete.
· Produces and analyzes monthly reporting.
· Ensure that quotes requested are generated within the agreed SLA.
· Provide a monthly forecast to finance
Business Development and Business Planning
· Identifies and defines new business opportunities in line with the business plan and objectives.
· Demonstrates an understanding of the technological direction of the industry and how these advances will benefit the client.
· Continue to build and strengthen their knowledge of the industry and product innovations.
· Assist in the solution design and implementation phases.
· Implement change management strategy and act as the lead change agent to promote the program and services.
· Support client’s Strategic Sourcing projects and activities as an active team member.
Operational Management –
Foster a culture of excellence and ensure continuous improvement through the use of best practices.
· Full understanding of digital and litho (sheet/web) process, warehousing and fulfillment advising on most suitable solutions.
· Advises on the economic formats, working with key stakeholders and agencies to derive cost effective and fit for print projects.
· Understanding of how the company can support and deliver added value to the client.
· Takes accurate information from clients, formulating full production briefs.
· Produces detailed print specifications to vendors.
· Maintains detailed job history information.
· Develops strong relationships with vendors and monitor supplier performance, take corrective action when required.
· Implements and uses management information systems.
· Daily tracking and analysis of benchmarking information, ensuring data and results are communicated.
· Implement, review and update operating procedures manual.
· Effective introduction, management and training of company systems and applications.
· Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
People Management and Development –
· Mentors, inspires and motivates team.
· Guides and manages workflow on a daily basis.
· Ensures team is adequately resourced to cover high demand periods and short staff situations.
· Identify and ensure the training and development requirements of the team are being achieved.
Qualifications:
· Must possess experience in working with senior level stakeholders.
· Strong project management experience.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Industrious, proactive work ethic; strong problem solving and decision-making mindset.
· Experience in negotiations, contract management, financial analysis and supply chain management.
· Print procurement and commercial print production knowledge require
· Proven track record for managing and developing staff.
Education / Experience:
· BS / BA – Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience. 5+ years of procurement experience desired. Ability to work independently. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Staff management experience and proven negotiation skills desired. Understanding of leading technologies and industry trends.
Other Skills / Abilities:
· Six Sigma experience helpful.
