Full description of the position

Mercury Business Services is a growing logistics company with offices in Boston, NYC and Chicago. Mercury specializes in time and temperature sensitive shipping for healthcare, life sciences and medical device companies.


We have been around for nearly 40 years, and have an excellent reputation in the market. We are looking for a driven, competitive, goals-oriented sales professional to help us build our book of business at new organizations, from small, early stage, start ups, to larger life science organizations. This is a very large market, with a very real pain point, that our services provide a lot of value to.


Responsibilities:

  • Researching the market and finding potential prospects
  • Daily out reach to potential new prospects both via phone and email with the option for follow up, in person meetings.
  • Onboarding new clients and closure
  • Hitting weekly/monthly/ quarterly performance metrics
  • Giving and receiving trainings on day to day best practices

Required Skills:

  • Ability to set and hit goals
  • Competent prospecting skills
  • Competent closure skills
  • Familiarity with a sales CRM
  • Working cross functionally with other departments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50-$70k base

Supplemental Pay: Bonus and commission structure

Schedule: Monday-Friday
