Full description of the position

Wellness Works Management Partners, A Fly High Business Builders Organization is on a mission to redefine the way that healthcare is delivered so that private practices in the healthcare sector can transform patient care delivery in an ever-changing healthcare environment. We are a deconstructed "MSO" that offers consulting, education, and management services inclusive of being a third-party medical billing agency.

Wellness Works Medical Billing currently seeking medical coding and billing professional with 5 years of coding and full revenue cycle expertise. This role is for an account manager that handles the full revenue cycle process for different clinic accounts that we support as an extension of their team.

Please note that compensation will be between $18 to $21 per hour if you are not certified by AAPC or don't have at least 5 years of experience as a medical billing and coding specialist with 2 years directly billing outpatient pediatric speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy. To qualify above $21 per hour, you must have AAPC certification and 5 years of relevant work experience.

Please be advised of the following:

  • This role is full-time and daytime hours in which we are seeking employees who are reliable, reside in Tampa Bay region and open to come into the office as needed although can earn ability to work remote.
  • You must be available M-F in mornings and daytime east coast hours
  • We are a billing agency so this is only W-2 employees being considered
  • Our ideal candidates bring strong expertise in the niche of pediatric speech therapy and pediatric occupational therapy revenue cycle management inclusive of coding audits, coding education, contract negotiation, operational best practices, and more.
  • Our ideal candidate is AAPC certified

Expertise Preferred:

  • AAPC Certified Coder (PREFERRED)
  • 5 years of outpatient pediatric speech therapy revenue cycle management expertise (PREFERRED)

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
