Responsibilities

The Senior Sales and Marketing Coordinator provides product and operational support to Sales Representatives, Agents, Agencies, Brokers and FMOs in the field as well as consumers looking for insurance.
  • Works with Management on projects and process improvements.
  • Assists in preparing/training for the Sales team for upcoming changes involving the
    systems/products/guidelines/procedures.
  • Assists Management with tracking projects to meet goals.
  • Helps coordinate the updates to the guidelines and procedures.
  • Assists Management in performing Quality Assurance Audits.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for the Individual ACA Product.
  • Effectively educates FMOs, agents and brokers on the product offering including how to use the Health Sherpa system to quote and enroll members.
  • Serve as the key liaison between external partners (Agents, Agencies, FMOs, Brokers) and key internal partners (Sales, Marketing, Compliance, Legal, Accounting).
  • Resource to the Sales team and new coordinators to guide their questions and training.
  • Support agent with issue resolution.
  • Responsible for reporting from EDE system or other sales support systems (Salesforce) in order to capture sales and agent recruitment activities.
  • Tracks broker/agent ID’s for commissions and incentives.
  • Works with Marketing to develop marketing strategies and campaigns, marketing materials and training materials to support the ACA product offerings.
  • Collects competitor materials for marketing and educational purposes.
  • Coordinates renewal efforts to increase returning consumers.
  • Assists with the Agent Licensing process and screens incoming paperwork for Agent Appointment and Licensing.
  • Assists new agents joining the marketplace for the first time with registration and training
    guidance.
  • Handles Daily/Monthly Sales reporting Handles plan changes, eligibility issues, Open Enrollment questions, etc.
  • Assists Sales and Marketing with agent event support, maintaining marketing and promotional
    materials and agent surveys.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education:
  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences

Additional Requirements:
  • 1 to 2 years experience in a sales or sales support role required.
  • High level of experience with the FFM - Federally Facilitated Marketplace Exchanges.
  • Experience working in an agency/broker environment supporting multiple agents who sell the
    individual product a plus.
  • Experience with Healthcare. gov and/or other Enhanced Direct Enrollment platforms,
    HealthSperpa preferred.
  • Active license in Life and Health Insurance preferred.
