Job Title: Interior Design Sales Consultant Reports to: General Manager

Department: Sales Location: Westlake, Ohio

FLSA Status: Full- Time

Job Summary:

Granite Works Stone Design is looking for a highly motivated Interior Design Sales Consultant that wants to join a quickly growing company with great growth opportunity. Candidates will work closely with customers throughout the design and sales process while ensuring that customer satisfaction is top priority.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

No direct supervisory responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Proactively greet customers as they enter the showroom and ascertain their needs and interests
• Drive sales through customer engagement and sharing product knowledge
• Develop and maintain customer relationships by conducting follow-up communication after the completion of a project
• Effectively communicate company history and story to our showroom guests
• Maintain a strong knowledge of all products, pricing structure, and software
• Track and manage sales goals and orders
• Communicate with customers throughout the project process
• Maintain a fresh and desirable showroom, answering incoming calls and the day to day business acumen
• Work with consultants, contractors, and fabricators to meet overall project objectives
• Follow standard operating procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follows company policies and procedures.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Educations and Experience:

• Proven client-facing work experience and/or retail experience
• Prior experience as a sales consultant or equivalent, preferably within the home design industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High School diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• Physically able to lift, push, pull more than 20 lbs
• Able to stand, sit, walk, move, squat, walk or climb for long periods of time
