Support the sales department as required by individual request.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Main job requirements are to work within the Sales department assisting in every day customer needs in the following areas of Sales, RFQ’s, and APQP.

The key function of this job will be as follows:

Sales Functions

• Print required drawings for sales review.
• Create New Job Folders (brown Folders)
• Contact with customers, while the Sales team is out of the office or as support is needed.
• Assist in engineering changes on existing work.
• Build spreadsheets/presentations/customer Letters, with direction.
• Assist with customer score cards on a daily/weekly/month basis as needed.
• Assist in sales forecasting/tracking.
• Print comparisons.
• Create program launch/management timelines.

RFQ Functions

• Create quote folders.
• Issue inquiry numbers to new part numbers.
• Create Skyway RFQ documents.
• Work with Purchasing Dept. to get out RFQ’s to Skyway’s supply base; for new and existing work as needed. Supporting Purchasing by collecting any missing customer information to complete the RFQ task.
• Communication with Skyway’s Sales/Engineer/Estimating for RFQ needs.

APQP Functions

• Assist with managing Skyway’s internal APQP meetings.
• Assist in loading and maintaining the Skyway APQP tracking log.
• Assist in receiving status updates for the sales team on open program launches.
• Assist in PPAP direction to Skyway Quality and Purchasing
• Assist in supplier APQP Launch Forms.

Support Compliance with Skyway Precision, Inc.’s Quality policies and procedures (IATF16949 & ISO 14001).

EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing or related field preferred.
In process continuing education towards a degree is also acceptable.

2-5 Years of experience in Production Manufacturing. Able to understand and review drawings to determine specific RFQ’s that need to be initiated (i.e. assembly components – ring gear, pins, bolts, plugs, seals, etc.). Knowledge in Program Management, CNC machining, engineering, casting processes and diesel engine components is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
