JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

RKA Petroleum Inc., is looking for an experienced Sales Representative that will be responsible for growth in both volume anJOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

RKA Petroleum Inc., is looking for an experienced Sales Representative that will be responsible for growth in both volume and margin. The Sales Representative is expected to understand risks associated with all new and existing markets and to provide insight into the strategic direction for profitable growth. These market assessments should include rack to retail spreads, the competitive landscape, supply options, and market trends for RKA.

Experience working in the fuel industry or with retail gas stations such as sales for tobacco, lottery, beverages, etc., is preferred but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develop & implement pricing and sales strategies to optimize sales revenues and margins by understanding competitor offers and programs, as well as customer requirements.

· Provide accurate anticipated miscellaneous costs and image expenses for acquiring new dealers or renewing existing dealer agreements and review economics with the sales team for approvals.

· Develop and maintain business relationships with all branded and non-branded suppliers and equipment/imaging vendors

· Collaborate with peers to develop and execute strategies to increase sales, as well as margins.

· Create, present and revise ROI’s in a manner that leads to the best opportunity for RKA Petroleum to earn new business and the greatest margin possible.

· Maintain awareness of competitor’s sales efforts and programs in sales territories.

· Participate in the responsibility of all gross profit margins at Retail branded & unbranded locations for both consigned and conventional dealers.

· Find, recommend, and participate in the purchasing of Retail Gasoline Stations, as well as any prospective land for development opportunities.

· Make & document in CRM, all prospective sales calls, as well as any/all important information learned while on the road.

· Operate with the highest level of integrity, representing RKA Petroleum Companies with the highest ethical standard.

· effectively communicate our business strategy to customers and the ability to present a professional, sophisticated image to our customers

· Keep all company strategies, business practices and results confidential.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

· Degree in business, or related field. Experience in previous positions considered equivalent.

· The ability to work independently, thrive on change and balance multiple priorities simultaneously

· Must be detail oriented and possess analytical problem-solving skills.

· Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills

· Strong analytical and business skills

· The ability to process complex time sensitive data and meet strict deadlines

· Proficiencies in a variety of software packages used to support the retail functions

· Must remain flexible to work outside normal business hours and travel throughout Ohio as needed to ensure all assigned duties are properly cared for

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
