Full description of the position

OHC is looking for an Oncology Liaison to work with our highly specialized Oncology practice. The Oncology Liaison will be collaborating with local referring physicians and are responsible for prospecting, nurturing and maintaining relationships to achieve practice growth goals. The Oncology Liaison will reach out to physicians within their territory to develop relationships and speak to the wonderful work that OHC is doing.

OHC offers a competitive compensation package which includes base salary and a bonus plan structured to reward corporate and individual performance. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Initiate and work collaboratively with operational leaders, physicians, site managers, and practice staff to understand business needs, plan and execute sales and marketing strategies which align with practice goals
  • Strategically use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues and ensure referral feedback is communicated/followed up appropriately
  • Initiate, establish and maintain ongoing communications with referring physicians and/or their office staff, including peer-to-peer, routine or follow-up visits, emails, and phone calls
  • Implement practice growth strategy in core markets and partner with Practice Marketing to implement the selling approach in each market
  • Utilize CRM, market analysis, trends, and performance reporting to develop sales plans and track practice growth
  • Conduct monthly data analysis and review with Practice Managers.
  • Support practice growth efforts through practice visits, sales calls, tumor boards, community events, trade-shows and cross-business collaboration
  • Adhere to liaison administrative duties, including managing travel expenses within guidelines and budget, timely completion of expense reports, and use of tools such as Salesforce and Business Objects
  • The Oncology Liaisons supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards and Shared Values.

The ideal candidate is a professional with high level communication skills and strategic thinking, is highly organized, flexible and has the ability to multi-task. Additionally, he or she will have:

  • 4-year undergraduate degree required, preferably with an emphasis in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, or Healthcare.
  • Experience: Prefer minimum 3 -5 years sales experience, preferably healthcare sales, calling on physician accounts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
