Our company is looking for an experienced Technician with experience, passion, and talent in sales. This position is responsible for running a partial pest control route while generating new sales through cross selling customers as well as inspecting homes and selling service and also prospecting door to door.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, also superb interpersonal skills and a go getter personality. Previous experience in a door to door sales role or a commercial business to business role is an advantage.

This is a commission based job where commission is earned on production of a set route, plus sales commission on new sales. Sales opportunities are with cross selling existing customer, closing sales on inspections, and knocking on doors between appointments to sell services to neighbors of your customers. This job has the potential to earn very healthy commissions.

Employee Responsibilities:

• Performing pest control services to customers that are scheduled on your route
• Finding and taking advantage of opportunities to Cross sell other services to existing customer
• Clover leaf prospecting between services (knocking on the doors of direct neighbors to our customers to attempt to sell services)
• Performing inspections and providing quotes to potential commercial clients and attempting to close sales.
• Generating leads by going door to door in residential neighborhoods and business to business
• Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
• Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
• Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
• Understanding and promoting company programs.
• Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.

Employee Requirements:

• Experienced in Pest Control
• Experience in sales.
• Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
• A commitment to excellent customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
• Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including word, excel, and outlook.
• Able to work comfortably in a fast paced environment.
• Comfortable and experienced in cold call type sales

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

• Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
