Logistics/ Inside Sales Coordinator - Rock Hill, SC
CHARTER
Responsible for creating and processing shipping related documents required for all purchased, manufactured and regrind product shipments in ASAP.
Responsible the administration and coordination of regrinding services on customer supplied products including inquiries, quotes, sales orders, production orders and shipping.
Perform a variety of duties to support sales, materials, purchasing, human resources and operations functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review production paperwork to ensure that the order meets customer specifications.
- Review sales order and customer purchase order for any shipping requirements.
- Create deliveries (Picking List & Transfer Orders) and prepare all shipping documents.
- Coordinate shipments to customers working with third party logistics and domestic carriers along with freight forwarders or custom brokers on international shipments.
- Responsible for managing all import/export documentation and procedures (letters of credit, TIB’s, etc.)
- Process and settle all credit card payments.
- Track shipments to insure timely delivery to customer.
- Work with carriers on late deliveries or lost shipments.
- Provides information to CAL to invoice Sales Orders.
- Maintain Sales Order related files.
- Proctor evaluations for applicants and maintain records.
- Coordinate with Sales to develop new regrind customers. Respond to customer inquiries and develop quotations.
- Direct and perform contract review, sales order entry, and quality planning on Regrind Customer Orders.
- Create production orders on existing parts and prioritize regrind workload for regrind operations based upon customer requirements and production capacities.
- Manage the regrind order backlog and coordinate regrind production order scheduling with production management.
- Schedule the delivery and pick-up of all Customer owned material related to Regrinds.
- Cross train to serve as the back-up for the Office Manager in all areas of responsibilities.
- Perform general office tasks including: typing, filing, answering incoming phone calls, and any other general tasks as assigned.
- Assists Plant Manager – Rock Hill in the execution of assigned tasks.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to communicate throughout all levels of the organization and external customers.
- Skill in expediting deliveries.
- Knowledge of domestic and international shipping documentation.
- Ability to work with detailed information collated from several different resources.
- Capable of spending time on the plant or warehouse floor.
- Knowledge and ability to schedule/expedite deliveries to meet customer requirements.
- Ability to work under general supervision and take independent action.
- Excellent computer skills (Office 365) and ERP experience (SAP preferred).
- Mathematics knowledge (basic fractions, decimals, metric, etc.), telephone skills and organizational abilities.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
- A.S. degree (or equivalent experience) in manufacturing production or business.
- Computer literacy, customer service, interpersonal and telephone skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
