Full description of the position

The Hilton Garden Inn, Colorado Springs Airport is currently seeking an experienced Hotel Sales Manager who is detail oriented, a self starter and able to drive the success of the hotel through Sales efforts and revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

• Meets sales goals as outlined by the General Manager / Regional Manager.
• Catering, meeting planning.
• Conducts hotel tours and site inspections for potential customers.
• Completes weekly sales call reports to be turned in to the General Manager and Corporate.
• Maintains detailed account files.
• Responsible for development and execution of action plan outlining planned sales activities.
• Must be knowledgeable of local market.
• Responsible for third party requests such as Hotel Planner and Brand RFP’s.
• Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to maximize revenue.
• Effectively develop relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base.
• Ensures a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers.
• Creates customer correspondence as required (sales agreements, proposals, etc).
• Ability to understand, execute and support Brand Standards and Brand Service Culture.
• Excellent written, verbal and telephone sales skills.
• Basic software knowledge (Windows, Microsoft Office, etc).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous sales experience
• Previous experience in a hotel or lodging environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
