ACCOUNT SPECIALIST - EDUCATIONAL SOFTWARE - CHARLESTOWN

The position:
The Account Specialist will be the face of our effort to expand the range of products and develop new markets. This role will focus on increasing sales through, cold calling, email and conference attendance. The role is to target key contacts, via phone or email. 50% of the time is expected to be spent on the phone. The Account Specialist will also have a list of established customers/clients to build and cultivate more sales.
- Researching, identifying, and qualifying prospects
- An individual that can research, close and maintain and expand business
- Cold-call / email prospects and identifies decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process
- Occasional travel to trade shows or company meetings within the US and abroad (Canada, Europe, South America)
- Account Management of Mexico, Latin and South America
- Bi-Lingual Spanish and English
The profile:
- Excellent sales and communication skills (phone, email, face to face)
- A client-focused attitude: highly motivated, personable, and patient
- Ability to work independently and in a team as well as to interface with the company headquarters in Europe
- Experience in account/customer relationship management and development, and time management
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Familiarity with CRM System (Sugar and HubSpot)
- 2 to 3 years work experience in a sales or tele-sales capacity required
