Overview:
CommIT Enterprises, Inc. (CommIT) is looking for a Business Development Analyst to support our corporate growth team in North Charleston, SC. This is a dynamic position that will include involvement in business development processes; researching new markets that align to CommIT’s core competencies and growth goals; and development of marketing strategies for specific opportunities and corporate initiatives. Responsibilities:
Established in 2001, CommIT is a Certified Veteran-Owned Small Business (CVOSB) providing innovative technical engineering and data science services. Our enterprise systems support includes the Department of Defense’s (DoD) GCCS-MC, CAC2S, TBMCS-MC, and the Department of Veteran’s Affairs’ (VA) telehealth communications. We offer acquisition management, systems engineering, Agile software development, cloud management, IT modernization, data analytics, cybersecurity, and training, including leading-edge DevSecOps, automated testing, and mobile application development.

This is a dynamic position that will include involvement in business development processes; researching new markets that align to CommIT’s core competencies and growth goals; and development of marketing strategies for specific opportunities and corporate initiatives.
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to-
Support CommIT’s business development lifecycle to include tracking solicitations, identifying business opportunities, and customer management- Assist proposal and capture managers in developing/maintaining proposal schedules (including the review and production phases), plans, outlines, assignments, baselines, and storyboards
- Support the proposal team in planning bid preparations to include proposal kick-off meetings, outlines, writing and updating proposal content, and color team reviews
- Analyze solicitation requirements and assist in developing proposal compliance matrices
- Support new and follow-on business capture management, strategy development and execution, and monitor progress toward stated business objectives
- Assist with collecting competitive intelligence across federal and commercial markets to support strategic growth and improve capture management
- Maintain a standardized, up-to-date collection of reusable proposal content and templates in the knowledge management database
- Attend pre-bid meetings, project review calls, professional conferences, seminars, and industry events, as needed
- Lead, document and ensure quality of CRM data, including inputs, regular reporting, and financial forecast analysis
- Provide business development-related administrative and support duties as needed
- Develop web measurement strategies and reporting of key business metrics
- Monitor campaign and website performance via analytic tools and provide feedback and actionable insights to Executive Leadership
- Create and maintain metrics and reports on marketing campaigns
- Monitor campaign results, analyze key metrics and optimization results
- Collaborate with project teams to create innovative content ideas
- Regularly produce various types of content, including social media posts, press releases, email blasts, and newsletters
Required Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Five (5) years of professional experience
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, flexibility, and professional manner
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, manage several tasks simultaneously and work both independently and as a team
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Intermediate Microsoft Excel skill level to produce reports and analyze data
