Sales Associate Job Description

Sales Associates work in groups or independently, following guidance from a diverse support team.

Sales Associate Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver a great sales experience by providing welcoming and engaging our customers and selling through customer connections by discovering customers needs and wants and executing and applying our sales techniques with each guest
• Demonstrate excellent product knowledge to properly interact and present solutions to our customers
• Meet expected their key performance indicators, by meeting their sales goals
• Perform daily store maintenance tasks including stocking, dusting, and cleaning.
• Conduct customer transactions such as sales, exchanges, returns, and others using established

POS procedures

• Maintain an organized work environment by receiving & processing restocking shipments, sizing, pricing, organizing, and folding merchandise.
• Stay current with promotional events, sales, and policy updates
• Maintain a professional and positive demeanor with all customers and team members
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written form with peers, management, and customers. Demonstrate appropriate email and phone etiquette.
• Ability to perform basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with or without the help of an electronic devise.
• General basic computer knowledge required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends
• As a Sales Associate you will be constantly moving, standing, reaching, and may occasionally involve kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and carrying up to 35 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.30 - $17.50 per hour
