Elliott Equipment Company is currently looking for a talented Sales Representative / Branch Manager to join our team in Davenport, IA. We are looking for someone who is energetic and ready to take on new and exciting sales opportunities. The Sales Representative will cover the Eastern Iowa territory selling new and used municipal equipment in our established territory! In addition to sales, this person would manage the Davenport branch which includes administrative support and a team of skilled mechanics.

The Sales Representative is responsible for the following:
· Establishing, developing, and maintaining long-lasting customer relationships.
· Promoting municipal equipment as assigned by demonstrating the units and their features to cities, municipalities, or private customers.
· Developing a strong understanding of equipment and providing training on the product features to customers.
· Attend tradeshows and stay up to date on new equipment
· Complete the full-cycle sales process from prospecting, completing the sale and ongoing relationship management.
· Provide a positive and professional customer experience that embodies the Elliott Equipment Company values.
· Identify customer needs and work to offer solutions
· Develop and deliver competitive bids to municipalities meeting their specified criteria.
· Keep a record of sales and inventory utilizing QuickBooks
· Maintain a professional image.
Management Responsibilities
· Manage an established team of 7 including skilled mechanics and administrative support.
· Communicate goals and objectives efficiently with staff and provide guidance to enable staff to meet goals/objectives.
· Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, state and local law.
A qualified applicant will possess the following:
· 1-3 years of sales and/or management/leadership experience
· Positive and goal driven attitude
· Excellent leadership and management skills.
· Ability to make a positive first-impression
· A self-starter who is excited to learn our products and engage our customer base
· Class B CDL or the ability to obtain
· Willingness to travel within your territory (travel expenses will be covered!)
· Highly motivated and goal oriented
· Excellent selling, negotiating, problem solving and relationship management skills.
· Proven sales experience preferred
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
