Marposs Corporation, a leading global producer of high precision manufacturing equipment has an opening for an Indirect Channel Manager. This individual will be responsible for business development and growth through a 3rd Party sales network.
Marposs designs and manufactures a wide range of products, solutions and assembly applications for precision measurement, inspection, test, process control for production quality and efficiency for all industrial sectors. Marposs is a primary capex supplier to the major automotive manufacturers, for both ICE and EV applications, as well as the aerospace, biomedical, energy, consumer electronics, semiconductors and glass sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Increase existing and new customer consumption through Indirect Partners (value added Agents and Resellers).
- Strategic business development planning for existing and growth markets
- Build Indirect Sales network through targeting, recruitment and development of Indirect Partners
- Support Customer Direct Sales Team and Product Management Teams through coordination with Indirect Partners
- Support Product Management teams to identify and package “Ready to Sell” Products.
- Support development and manage Indirect Partner structure, guidelines and policies
- Identify and support development of indirect Partner Sales Tools: Training, Sales Documentation, Webinars, Marketing, Communication.
- Develop and Manage KPIs through existing CRM, Dashboards and specialized recordkeeping.
- Ensure motivation and good communication for Indirect Partners
- Possess a knowledge of general gauging, inspection, test and process control concepts
Skills/Requirements:
- BA or BS degree or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in any industrial / manufacturing market
- Previous direct or indirect sales experience, 5 yr minimum.
- Strong commercial analytical skills
- Strong leadership and team building skills
- Effective communication, whether technical or non-technical.
- Technical and commercial aptitude to connect products with Indirect Partner capability
- Efficient presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and statistical analysis software.
