Retail Sales Regional Market Manager in Kansas City, MO
Hallmark Stone is a fabricator and installer of quartz and granite countertops. We sell our products and services to a dealer network throughout Kansas, Missouri, and Illinois - including Builders, Kitchen and Bath retailers, Interior Designers, and Home Centers. We service both the Kansas City and St. Louis markets. Due to the growth in our Kansas City business, we plan to hire a Kansas City Market Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated person who is looking to succeed in the construction industry. Primary responsibilities of Kansas City Market Manager:
- Sales and Service - responsible for weekly dealer account visits – calling on existing accounts and prospects in our distribution channels. Time will be spent with existing accounts and prospecting for new business. The Market Manager will work with our administrative and management team on day-to-day activities as needed – project scheduling, material ordering, production planning, issue resolution, etc.
- Kansas City Logistics – the successful candidate will be in a supervisory role over our template and installation teams that are based in Kansas City. You will have regular interaction and responsibility over the logistics and coordination of our staff and scheduling, and work closely with our local install manager to ensure that all projects and all customers are provided our very best quality and service. You will spend approximately 3 mornings per week at our Kansas City office/warehouse.
The ideal candidate will have both management and sales experience. You will have an outgoing personality, an outstanding work ethic, excellent organizational skills, customer service skills, and be able to work extremely well with a variety of different types of people.
Job scope includes
- Increasing sales by visiting accounts, building relationships, and closing sales
- Sales & marketing - sales calls, customer service, distribution of samples, literature, and other activities
- Educate our dealer accounts regarding the value of our products and services
- Job site visits to ensure we are completing templates and installations to meet and exceed customer expectations
- Regular office time to supervise template and install
- Understanding and involvement in the logistics of the business, and providing assistance where needed
